When God Says It Is A New Season.

It’s a new season for Yahweh’s Mouthpiece and, by extension, you. And when God declares a new season, there are implications of that word. Everything comes together and aligns to the performance of that word, and there is an alignment requirement on our end to realise the word that God has spoken.

When God says it’s a new season, your former experiences become inconsequential.

Isaiah 60:15 says, “Whereas thou hast been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through thee, I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations.” Even though you have been forsaken and hated, I will make you an eternal excellency. God is saying that whatever happened or you experienced before becomes inconsequential because God is doing something new.
This word is confirmed in Isaiah 43:18, “Remember not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I do a new thing.”

The previous experiences, whether defeats or even victories, do not count for what God wants to do is nothing compared with what God wants to do. For He says, “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” Our response should be like Paul’s. In Philippians 3:13 he said, “I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before.”

When God says it is a new season, there is a grace funding to actualise it.

2 Corinthians 9:8 KJV “And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.”

It’s not yours to try to figure out how God will bring to pass the word He has spoken about your new season. Do you know how the day breaks? Yes, the sun rises from the east, but do you know the backend of that process? Do you? You see, we don’t notice the minute increments in the brightness of the skies at the breaking of the day. We only suddenly notice or come to the realisation that the place that was once pitch black is now bright and clear. So the Lord will do with you. You will just wake up and realise that it’s a new day indeed.

Whatever the Lord says with His mouth, he executes with His might. Isaiah 60:22 KJV A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time.

When God says it’s a new season, He requires a new you.

Jesus said, “No one puts new wine into old wineskines; or else the wine bursts the wineskins, the wine is spilled and the wineskins are ruined. But new wine must be put into new wineskins.” (Mark 2:22)

When God declares a new season, new wine is available. But the vessel to carry that new vessel must be made new. This might mean new understandings and new mindsets. The current framework of your mind can’t conceive the greatness God is bringing, and so He requires a renewal of your mind and an expansion of your capacity.

Isaiah 54:2-3 KJV “Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes; for thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.”

If you believe the word God has spoken about your new season, you must then create capacity for the new.

Things are not the same again. If you stay the way you are, you will be left behind. Brace up for the new, follow the Lord faithfully as He leads you and believe every word He speaks.

Welcome to your new season, beloved!
