Good day, dear reader. It’s been a while here. We are still in this series of gleaning from Israel’s journey to Canaan. We come to this point of Israel’s exit and all that God did in Egypt for the deliverance of His people. I believe that in this season, God is working out a great deliverance for His people even as we align. Have an enlightening read.
He that initially said “no” will eventually say “go”, for Yahweh has said so. Thus saith the LORD, “I will loose the loins of kings to open unto thee the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut” (Isaiah 45:1).
You know, Pharaoh had said, “Who is the LORD, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the LORD, neither will I let Israel go.” (Exodus 5:2). He chose to be adamant but God knew how to deal with him. He said unto Moses “I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no not by a mighty hand. And I will stretch out my hand, and smite Egypt with all my wonders which I will do in the midst thereof: and after that he will let you go.” I love the Message translation of the latter verse. It says “I will intervene and hit Egypt where it hurts…”.
I’m reminded of Jacob’s encounter at Peniel where he wrestled with a man all night. The man couldn’t prevail against him and touched the hollow of his thigh and caused a dislocation. This is what God is set to do in this season, loosening the loins of men who have refused to let God’s will prevail though them for His people.
It’s a season of liberation from limitations. Your being let go from the hands of them that have stood in the way.

“He would grant unto us that we being delivered from our enemies might serve him without fear, in holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our lives.”
Before God came to their rescue, they had to cry out to Him. The reason why that situation still stands as at now is probably that you haven’t cried to God. We dwelt on this in the third part of this series. You can read it up here.
Pharaoh decided to stand in the way hindering the deliverance of Israel. God was saying “go” but this man was saying “no.” Anyone who stands in the way of God’s army stands in the way of Jehovah Nissi, The LORD our banner going before us and fighting our battles. Fire goes before Him consuming His enemies and shielding His armies. By God’s programme, Israel had left Egypt the moment they raised their cry to Him. It was only the reality of it that was being hindered by the man who chose to stand in God’s way. He that wants to hinder Yahweh from having His way will have to give way.
“He would grant unto us that we being delivered from our enemies might serve him without fear in holiness and righteousness before him all the days of our lives.” (Luke 1:74 –75). Moses’ petition to Pharaoh for their release was that they wanted to serve thief God in the wilderness but Pharaoh will not let them. The Lord will save you that you might serve Him.
He will take you from the land of oppression to the land of thy possession.
This great work of God cuts across our individual lives, families, the church, and even the nation.
It is not by a transition of rule that there will be a change in the state of this country. It is by God’s people raising their cry to Him.
There are prophecies concerning this nation that will only be brought into fruition when God’s people align not by carrying placards but by staying in the place of prayers travailing for this nation.
To Abraham, God said, “Know thou of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land that is not theirs, and they shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years; and also that nation, whom they will serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance.” (Genesis 15:13 – 14)
Israel had to raise their cry then God heard and remembered His covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Israel.
Men who have cone before us have made covenants with God and there have been prophecies for this nation that will only be brought to pass when we, God’s chosen generation, arise and pray and cry to God.
We need to invite God to pass through our land (personal lives, families, Church, this nation, and even the world) on a smiting mission and to execute judgement. “For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt will I execute judgement: I am the LORD.” (Exodus 12:12)
It is a season, where you can put an end to every evil trend in your life, family if you choose to align and not keep silent but raise your cry to God.
“He would grant unto us that we being delivered from our enemies might serve him without fear, in holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our lives.” Amen.
